UFC president Dana White appeared on Tuesday night’s edition of “SportsCenter” on ESPN to clear up talk of Conor McGregor competing at UFC 200.
And, to the surprise of many, White stated that the promotion is working on a new main event without McGregor. He added that the reason for his exit was due to “Notorious” refusing to fly to Las Vegas for media events.
The UFC featherweight champion was scheduled to meet Nate Diaz in a rematch on July 9 at welterweight.
Officials are working on a new main event for the show.
Tickets are set to go on sale next week.
