According to Kendall Grove, he’ll be the first man to challenge Brandon Halsey’s reign atop the Bellator MMA middleweight division.
Grove posted on social media that he will face Halsey on May 15 from the Pechange Resort and Casino in Temecula, California. The bout will air on Spike TV.
Halsey (8-0) won the title this past September when he submitted Alexander Shlemenko in just 35 seconds. Grove (21-14) is a veteran of the sport and has posted a 2-1 record since signing with Bellator.
Grove also posted a series of messages on Twitter, writing “(Expletive) all u haters da spyder got that next title shot. Let the shit talking begin. Love me or hate me whether u think I deserve it or not Bellator MMA is giving me a shot and I’m not (expletive) it up.”
