According to a report by The Telegraph out of England, a super-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is set to be announced soon.
Sources told the newspaper that Pacquiao agreed to a contract on Saturday, with Mayweather to sign soon. It’s possible the fight is announced as official during tonight’s NBA All-Star Game in New York, which Mayweather is expected to attend.
The Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena is to play host, with May 2 expected to be the official date. Mayweather is scheduled to earn 60-percent of the revenue, with Pacquiao the other 40-percent.
Mayweather is unbeaten in 47 pro fights, winning 26 via knockout. Pacquiao, meanwhile, is 57-5-2 with 38 career finishes.
