Thanks to some matchmaking by Eddie Alvarez, Bobby Green is looking to fight Diego Sanchez later this year.
Green took to social media last week, asking about a potential match with Alvarez. When the former Bellator champion replied that he wants a title shot next, he didn’t leave “King” out to dry.
Instead, Alvarez mentioned Green vs. the winner of Jim Miller-Sanchez, which was “The Nightmare.”
Green (23-6) had his eight-fight win streak snapped in late 2014 at the hands of Edson Barboza. He has not fought since, as a pair of injuries forced him out of planned bouts with Jorge Masvidal and Al Iaquinta.
