“Big” John McCarthy won’t be giving his stamp of approval to NSAC executive director Keith Kizer, especially after the scoring of Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez.
“The truth is, Keith Kizer is a person that does not know combative sports,” said McCarthy on The MMA Hour. “He’s never been part of them. He’s never done them. He puts people [in positions] at times that maybe shouldn’t be put.”
The two don’t really agree and that’s one reason McCarthy isn’t seen referring in Nevada.
At UFC 165, McCarthy was the third man inside the cage. That show came from the Air Canada Centre on September 21.
