Bellator Reaches TV Deal With FOX Sports Latin America

Bellator has signed a multi-year partnership agreement to make FOX Sports their exclusive carrier throughout Latin America. The deal goes into effect on October 2013.

“The possibilities that surround this alliance are nearly endless, including live events in key Latin American markets and the distribution of unique Bellator content exclusively for FOX Sports,” said Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney.

50 million homes will be able to watch live Bellator cards and special shows the promotion runs. By 2015, the press release states that Bellator will run 25 live events per year.

FOX Sports Latin America will also air Bellator 106, the first pay-per-view for free. It’s headlined by former UFC light heavyweight champions Tito Ortiz and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
