Bellator MMA is planning to turn the “Big Apple” upside down today, bringing a number of fighters to a special media day.
The “Bellator MMA Media Day” is set for Dave and Buster’s in New York beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Fighters will first meet with the media before a picture and autograph session begins at 2:30 p.m. ET. There is no charge for the public.
Expected to be in attendance are featherweight champion Pat Curran, interim lightweight champion Will Brooks, Michael Chandler, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal and Tito Ortiz.
Bellator held its first pay-per-view event earlier this year, with Brooks, Chandler, Jackson, Lawal and Ortiz all taking part in fights on the card. Also, Scott Coker was recently tabbed as president, replacing Bjorn Rebney.
The promotion returns to Spike TV on September 5 with Bellator 123, as Curran defends his title against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire.
