Bellator’s welterweight champion, Douglas Lima, has been forced to once again postpone his first title defense due to injury.
Lima, who won the title last year over Rick Hawn, suffered an injury in training that will keep him out. He does plan to return in the spring.
I'm again devastated to announce but I did get injured again in camp. Recovery is just 4-6 weeks I should be able to fight April or May.

Paul Daley was expected to meet Lima as part of the upcoming Bellator 134: The British Invasion card. He acknowledged the injury and loss of fight, while also taking a shot at Lima.
Lima responded via Twitter, saying “Keep talking homie… Wait till I put my hands on you! Just wait I’ll be healthy soon enough….”
