Heavyweights Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione will give it a second go, as the New York Post is reporting the two will co-headline Bellator 180.
The event is set for June 24 from Madison Square Garden in New York City. In the featured attraction will be Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva on pay-per-view.
Emelianenko (36-4) and Mitrione (11-5) were set for battle last month, but Mitrione was forced out of the Bellator 172 main event due to kidney stones.
This marks the debut for “The Last Emperor” in Bellator after signing with the promotion.
