Coming off an event that set records for viewership for Bellator, last Friday’s Bellator 150 card continued to be a strong challenger in the ratings.

Despite losing the planned main event between bantamweight champion Marcos Galvao and Eduardo Dantas, the Spike TV card still generated 733,000 viewers – making it the most-watched non-tent pole event for Bellator in eight months, according to The MMA Report.

The card was headlined by Cheick Kongo and Vinicius Queiroz from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.

Main competition in terms of sports viewing for Bellator came from two NBA games, including the Chicago Bulls vs. Atlanta Hawks on ESPN.

The week before Bellator 150, Bellator 149 took place with Royce Gracie besting Ken Shamrock and Kimbo Slice defeating Dada 5000.
