Bellator 136 Predictions: Will Brooks-Dave Jansen Collide For Title

will brooks

Will Brooks will make his first official title defense Friday night against Dave Jansen in the main event of Bellator 136.

The main card airs live on Spike TV from the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.

After winning the interim title last year with a victory over Michael Chandler, Brooks became the undisputed champion with another win over Chandler. Now, he gets to prove those triumphs against a veteran in Jansen.

Brooks, 28 years old, has won each of his last six fights, including victories over two members of the fight card tonight. He is 15-1 in his career.

Jansen (20-2) is on a seven-fight win streak that includes an October victory over Rick Hawn and a win in the Season 7 Tournament.

The rest of the television card includes middleweights Joe Schilling and Rafael Carvalho, lightweights Marcin Held and Alexander Sarnavskiy and heavyweights Alexander Volkov and Tony Johnson.
