Fighter weigh-ins for Friday’s Bellator 133 card went down earlier today from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.
In the main event, former middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko takes on Melvin Manhoef. The main card airs live on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET.
Shlemenko and Manhoef both weighed in at 186 pounds, while co-main event competitors Pat Curran (146) and Daniel Weichel (145.5) also made weight.
After stringing together a lengthy win streak, Shlemenko is coming off back-to-back losses, including a submission defeat at the hands of Tito Ortiz.
“I am absolutely looking for the knockout,” he said. “Any kind of win is a success, but I really want the knockout.”
Like Shlemenko, Curran is a former Bellator champion. The ex-featherweight titleholder said “A fight’s a fight. Everything can go out the window with one punch. I’m looking to getting back to being my old self. I am humbled and hungry, you are going to see the old Pat Curran in there with a couple new tricks up his sleeve.”
