Officials have set the entire card for Bellator 130, which takes place this month from the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.

Emanuel Newton will defend his light heavyweight title against Linton Vassell in the main event on October 24. Other planned Spike TV main card fights include Bobby Lashley vs. Karl Etherington, Marloes Coenen vs. Annalisa Bucci and Dave Jansen vs. Rick Hawn.

Newton (24-7) is coming off a stunning knockout of Joey Beltran, as he recovered from a slow start to land his spinning back-fist. Newton also used the move to finish Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in a previous Bellator fight.

“I didn’t feel good about my last performance even though I got the knock out,” Newton said. “I wanted to get another fight as soon as possible so I could put on a better performance for the fans, and (Scott) Coker, Bellator, Spike and Viacom really made it happen. I have to thank everyone involved and I am ready to put on an awesome fight for the fans on October 24.”

Vassell (14-3) has won nine straight and is a perfect 3-0 with the promotion.

“This was not an easy road but I’m living the dream right now, it was only a matter of time before I was fighting for the Bellator world title,” Vassell said. “The time is now and I’m more than ready to be the first British Bellator light heavyweight world champion.”

Coenen, a former Strikeforce champion, will make her debut with Bellator in the female featherweight division against Bucci.
