Bellator MMA returns to Iowa this Friday night for Bellator 129, with several fighters native to the state set for action.
That includes both main event contestants, as Paul Bradley takes on Josh Neer. The four-bout main card airs on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET.
Bradley (21-6) is a former standout wrestler for the University of Iowa, going 1-1 in his two Bellator fights. He also competed for the UFC previously, losing to Mike Pierce and Rafael Natal via decision. Neer (36-13-1) has won three straight since his release in 2013 from the UFC following a three consecutive losses to Court McGee, Justin Edwards and Mike Pyle.
Due to injury, officials were forced to replace James Thompson in the co-main event vs. Houston Alexander. Now, Virgil Zwicker steps in for a catchweight bout with Alexander. The other two main card fights feature Andre Santos-James Terry and Joe Vedepo-Davin Clark.
All the actions starts on Spike.com at 6:30 p.m. ET from the Mid-American Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Below is the current lineup. No opponent has been named for MCC champion Michael McBride, who will be making his Bellator debut.
