Some wild strikes by Stepanyan, as Richman is more precise, taking his time and looking for an opening. A good exchange of jabs in the middle of the cage, as this has been an all-stand up affair through three-plus minutes. A third spinning attack by Stepanyan is blocked. Richman catches him with a left to the chin and follows up with a right, but Stepanyan remains standing. Straight right from Stepanyan hurts Richman, who is backing up and eats another shot. Left from Richman drops Stepanyan straight to the canvas and he follows up with a double hammerfist, forcing the referee to step in. This one is all over folks, despite Stepanyan protesting the stoppage, he appeared out. The back of Stepanyan’s head snapped off the mat, which will always force the ref to call it.
