Last week’s Bellator 102 scored its second highest rating of Season 9 with 675,000 viewers. The week prior did slightly lower with 649,000 viewers.
The main card featured the opening rounds of a four-person heavyweight tournament. Former UFC fighter Cheick Kongo and Vinicius Spartan advanced to the finals with stoppage wins. Mikkel Parlo and Brennan Ward won their respective bouts to setup the finals of the current middleweight tournament. Also, the 2013 Summer Series bantamweight tournament ended as Rafael Silva left with the decision victory.
The show peaked with 958,000 viewers during Kongo’s main event win.
Bellator 102 was October 4 and came from the Visalia Convention Center in California. The promotion returns later today with Bellator 103, with a live main card starting at 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
