Another British Fighter Emerges In Tom Breese

ufc fight night 67

Tom Breese entered the UFC unbeaten, and he remained that way following a first round TKO victory over Luiz Dutra Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 67.

Breese (8-0) had finished all seven of his previous opponents inside of the first five minutes. And, despite stepping up to UFC-level competition in Dutra, he kept that streak going.

After landing a clean left that floored the Brazilian, Breese followed up with several vicious shots, forcing the referee to step in and stop things with just two seconds left.

“I was a bit surprised with how he came out, but I chopped his leg and set up the left-hand,” Breese said. “This is a dream come true. It was a great honor fighting him. He is a great fighter.”

Despite making his Octagon debut, and in a foreign country for the English fighter, Breese said there were no nerves ahead of the action.

“This was probably the only fight I was not nervous for,” he said. “I am getting more and more comfortable for every fight.”

Following his early training at Fearless MMA, Breese is now trains out of the Tristar Gym and had MMA and UFC veteran Denis Kang in his corner.
