Former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko’s bid to reverse his suspension for a failed drug test was denied.
Shlemenko was suspended for three years and fined $10,000 by the California State Athletic Commission after testing positive for a banned substance following a win vs. Melvin Manhoef.
That decision was also changed to a no-contest.
In all, Shlemenko had four violations, as his testosterone levels were 50-to-1. The legal limit in the state of California is 4-to-1.
