There aren't many better ways to make a UFC debut than bringing home a win. Of course, when it involves an opening round knockout of an unbeaten opponent, things get even sweeter. Alan Patrick did just that at UFC Fight Night 29, taking out Garrett Whiteley less than four minutes into their match-up.
When the Octagon makes an appearance in Brazil it essentially guarantees fans are in for a treat. In addition to the incredible energy the audience always brings, fighters from the South American nation are always out to impress while those heading into hostile territory seem to find extra motivation to exit with a victory in tow. UFC Fight Night 29 was no different, featuring some highly memorable moments including Dong Hyun Kim’s knockout of Erick Silva, the competitive clash between bantamweights T.J. Dillashaw-Raphael Assuncao, a nasty but controversial submission from Rousimar Palhares, and much more. (Photos by USA Today Sports Images)
